Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fixxer ("Fixxer", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Fixxer client app, the Fixxer provider app, or the Fixxer website (together, the "Services"). Fixxer connects customers who need home and handyman services with independent service providers.

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password. If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider.

Profile and service information. Profile photo, saved addresses, service preferences, and (for providers) skills, service categories, and identity/verification documents you choose to upload.

Location information. With your permission, we collect precise or approximate location data to help you set a service address, find nearby providers, and let providers navigate to a job. You can disable location access in your device settings, though this may limit some features.

Booking and order information. Services booked, job details, schedules, cancellation reasons, ratings and reviews, and messages exchanged through in-app chat between clients and providers.

Payment information. When you pay for a service, payment is processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Paystack, Flutterwave, or Authorize.Net, depending on your region). We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank credentials on our servers - those are handled directly by the payment provider under its own privacy policy and PCI-compliance obligations. We retain transaction records (amount, date, status) needed for order history, receipts, and refunds.

Photos and attachments. Images you choose to upload, such as a profile photo, a photo describing a job, or a file shared in chat.

Device and usage information. Device type and operating system, app version, a push-notification token, IP address, and general usage data (such as which screens you visit) used to operate and improve the Services.

Notifications. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications (for example, order updates, chat messages, and offers). This requires sharing a device token with Google/Firebase; see Section 4.
